Central Vacuum System Specifications

A 12 volt control system which turns the vacuum unit on automatically when the hose is inserted into the vacuum socket. The use of 12 volts in the control wiring ensures that the system is quite safe should anyone touch the connections in sockets.
A two-stage filtration system comprising of a cyclone primary filter and a self-cleaning textile secondary filter.
Exhaust air which is piped to the exterior of the building leaving no unpleasant odours or microscopic dust particles behind, considerably reducing the risk of allergies.
An electric motor with sound insulation which reduces noise levels significantly.
A canister that is painted with an epoxy finish. (A stainless steel alternative is available)
A dust container which is made from semi-transparent PVC so that the dust level can be seen.

These vacuum units are made in Belgium to European specifications and tested to the strictest European safety standards including:-
CE (European Conformity) with relevant Certification, which guarantees the safety & conformity of the equipment.
EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility - obligatory in Europe)
SEV (Switzerland)
Kema-Cebec (Belgium & Holland), an independent inspectorate, which is recognised throughout the European Union.

Choice of vacuum sockets

Elek Trends central vacuum systems are manufactured in Belgium to European specifications and tested to the strictest European safety standards.

A standard central vacuum system incorporates the following items:-

A Central Vacuum Unit with :


			Millennium sockets Slimline modern design with slightly curved sides. They are made of PVC and come in a choice of 7 colours. This is our standard socket.


	Designer sockets Available in stainless steel with choice of 9 colours including brass, bronze, stainless steel, marbled effects & other colours. These sockets fit flush with the floor or wall.

			Elbow fitting for socket Each socket needs a 90 degree bend immediately behind it. The design of this fitting stops large items from entering the system - thus preventing any blockages. Its compact design allows alignment with electric sockets and each is provided with a plastic insert for protection during plastering.

	All sockets are provided with a universal starter.

Accessory kit comprising :

a lightweight flexible suction hose with a choice of 3 standard lengths from 7.5m to 10m,
five brushes & attachments,
a pair of chromium plated telescopic extension tubes, and
a storage bag and hook.

Also available are longer hoses and hoses with a remote on/off switch incorporated in the handle.
