Fitting of Designer sockets in the floor When fitting vacuum pipe in the floor, the exact height of the finished floor may not be known so that the final height of the socket cannot be determined at this stage. On the assumption that the pipework will be laid on the sub floor within the 50mm insulation layer and will be covered with 50/60mm of screed, then the top of the screed is likely to be between 100-120mm above the sub floor. But the approximate fitted depth of the vacuum socket is between 80-100mm. |
