Designer Socket fitted into floor

It is sometimes desirable to fit a socket in the floor rather than in a wall - the Designer socket is ideal for this purpose as shown in the following photographs.


	Pipework with D90 fitting and plasterguard. The plasterguard stops anything from getting into the system during the building process. It is removed after screeding the floor (or plastering the walls, if fitted in a wall) and then the Designer front is fitted - see next photograph

Looking down into the Designer socket you can see the 2 metal pins that activate the vacuum motor when the hose is inserted into the hole.
